Join us for our 2026 Careers Day!

Birmingham Assay Office is set to welcome the next generation of talent to its annual Careers Day on 26 March, offering a unique opportunity to explore careers in jewellery and precious metals.

Designed to inspire and inform, the event will feature a packed programme of expert talks, interactive exhibits and hands-on workshops, giving attendees an insight into the wide range of career paths available within the jewellery industry.

The Careers Day is open to:

  • Students aged 15 and over
  • Individuals of any age already in the workplace and considering a career change
  • Those looking to transfer existing skills into the jewellery and precious metals sector


In addition to the main programme, visitors will have the opportunity to view The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Winners Exhibition 2025/26, which will be on display at Birmingham Assay Office.
