EVENT OBJECTIVE
This half-day event provides a unique opportunity to find out more about Hallmarking at The Birmingham Assay Office. It is ideal for those working in the jewellery or precious metal trades, collectors, and members of the public who would like to learn more about Hallmarking, including the history of Hallmarking in the UK and current legislation. The event offers a rare opportunity to visit the Hallmarking floor at the Assay Office to see how Hallmarks are applied to precious metals and jewellery. Delegates will also be given the opportunity to ‘have a go’ at Hallmarking. The course provides three hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity.
