The Birmingham Assay Office is pleased to once again be at the heart of Centrepiece 2008


Contemporary jewellery designer makers and silversmiths based in Birmingham whose work sells nationally and internationally will be exhibiting and selling their work from two locations this year - Symphony Hall and Birmingham Town Hall from Tuesday 11th November to Tuesday 23rd December. 

Centrepiece offers a fantastic opportunity to buy original work directly from the designers.  It is a Christmas shopping haven where you can even commission your own pieces for special gifts whilst at the same time supporting West Midland designers.  The choice will be wide - from delicate jewellery in precious metals to funky fashion pieces to wear long after the festivities are over. 

A silver leaflet explaining the sterling silver hallmarks will be supplied by The Birmingham Assay Office  and will be included with every purchase made throughout the exhibition.

A private view and fashion show supported by The Office will take place at Symphony Hall on Thursday 13th November.  For more information visit
