Open Studios 2011
20th - 21st May

Centrepiece's Jewellery Designers are opening up their Jewellery Quarter studios this month to give you a glimpse of the life of a working jeweller.
Six studios will be open on the 20th and 21st of May with the designer makers on hand to explain their working practices, talk to through their design ideas and demonstrate their craft.

Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter is an exciting and historic area of the city, boasting two museums which explore it's industrial heritage (The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter and The Pen Room), a fine collection of independent cafe's and restaurants (The Urban Coffee Company and The Drop Forge - to name just two) and the great 24 Carrots Farmers Market on the 3rd Saturday of the month (21st of May).

It's the perfect place to spend a day out in the city, to find something unique and buy a piece of contemporary jewellery in the place it was made. Download your map below and come along to visit us!
