Britain In Bloom - Planting In St Pauls Square Churchyard

Green fingered volunteers from The Birmingham Assay Office, recently gave up their lunch time to work under the watchful supervision of experienced gardeners from Birmingham City Council (Emma and Mike) to plant up the wonderful containers - some bearing the world famous Anchor symbol – the Hallmark of The Birmingham Assay Office - which can be seen lining St Paul’s Churchyard, in St Paul’s Square.

The planting should have settled in good time for the Britain In Bloom judging which takes place on 15th July.

Volunteers from The Birmingham Assay Office included: Olivia Turner, Sophie Whitehouse, Penny J. Parkes, Debbie Tillison, Toni Collins, Tim Smith, Michael Evans, Ian Hodges and Ian Bayley.

Please come down to St Pauls Square, in the jewellery quarter to admire our handiwork in full bloom.
