STUDENT HALLMARKING PACKAGE LAUNCHED / JULY 06

The Birmingham Assay Office has for many years recognised the importance of supporting and encouraging the new lifeblood of the jewellery and silversmithing industries and is delighted to announce details of a new Hallmarking Package for Students.

The Birmingham Assay Office is offering all full time students, on recognised jewellery and silversmithing courses at any College or University in the UK, the opportunity to register at The Birmingham Assay Office completely free of charge. The offer will give students the opportunity of setting up their own Sponsor’s mark at no cost.  The package, valued at over £140 includes –

• Registration of a Sponsor’s Mark
• One Sponsor’s Mark Hallmarking Punch
• Set up of software for Laser Marking of Sponsor’s mark
